The APICS chapter (the Piedmont Triad chapter) in the Greensboro- Winston- Salem area has an active schedule of workshops for manufacturing devotees. Starting on June 5 they are conducting a series of four 4-hour Thursday afternoon workshops. I would strong encourage these courses for two types of manufacturing individuals:
1. The practitioner who is seeking more information on this topic.
2. The senior manager who wants a refresher course to enable him to benchmark his company’s activities to current best practices.
